Position: Concession Manager
About: The Broward County Convention Center, managed by ASM Global, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Concessions Manager to oversee concessions operations in the facility. With a vibrant growth phase and expansion plans underway, this is an exciting time to join the team.
Requirements: Associate’s degree; One to two plus years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; Bachelor’s degree preferred; Previous management experience in a similar venue; Strong orientation to customer service and ability to collaborate with other staff members in the facility; Demonstrated ability to control costs, generate increased revenue and manage accounts payable/receivable and financial reporting; Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills; Results-oriented individual with the ability to meet required budgetary goals; Excellent organizational, planning, communication, and interpersonal skills; Ability to train workers in preparation and cooking of foods to ensure high quality, efficient, and profitable food service; Communicates efficiently and effectively (Bilingual – English/Spanish – a plus); Ability to function in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment; Proficiency in Microsoft Office
