Position: Complex General Manager
About: Highgate Hotels, a leading real estate investment and hospitality management company with a strong presence in major U.S. gateway cities like New York, Boston, Miami, San Francisco, and Honolulu, is seeking a Complex General Manager for the SpringHill Suites Chandler in Chandler, AZ. Highgate focuses on achieving hotel profitability through revenue generation, cost control, guest satisfaction, and employee development, maintaining the integrity of the hotel throughout the property cycle.
Requirements: At least 6 years progressive experience in a hotel or related field; or a 4-year college degree and at least 4 to 5 years of related experience; or a 2-year college degree and at least 5 to 6 years of related experience; Experience managing multiple properties; Long hours sometimes required; Must have valid driver’s license for the applicable state; Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times; Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written with all levels of employees and guests; Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines; Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a courteous and service-oriented manner; Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Highgate Hotel Standards; Comply with Highgate Hotel Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations; Perform other duties as requested by management
