Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in public administration, human resources management, business administration, or a related field; 1-3 years of relevant experience in consulting, data analytics, compensation, human resources, or a related field; local government experience is preferred; proficiency in intermediate Excel functions, such as pivot tables, XLOOKUP, date functions, conditional formatting, formulas, charts/graphs, and regression analysis; foundational knowledge of compensation topics, such as job matching and market pricing, job evaluation, pay structures, and compensation regulations; strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting; public presentation and facilitation skills are a plus; flexibility to work extended hours, including occasional night meetings to attend City Council or County Board meetings as necessary.
