Position: Community Recreation Program Coordinator
About: Under the general direction of the Recreation Program Manager, this position is responsible for coordinating, instructing, and leading a variety of special events and programs for the Recreation Division within the Parks & Recreation Department. The role involves producing monthly and annual marketing materials for Community Programs.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; Prefer an Associate’s degree in Recreation, Marketing, Gerontology, Therapeutic Recreation, Education, or related field; Minimum two (2) years of direct work experience organizing events or teaching programs; Minimum of six (6) months supervisory experience preferred; Demonstrated proficiency in personal computer applications especially MS Word and Excel; Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
