Position: Community Life Coordinator
About: Piper Shores is Maine’s premier nonprofit continuing care retirement community looking for a full-time Community Life Coordinator to join the Assisted Living and Community Health Services team at the Oceanside Campus. The Community Life Coordinator is responsible for delivering programs and services that meet the physical, spiritual, and emotional needs of residents and their families with a focus on personalized care and transition processes within the community.
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in a Health-Related Field or Equivalent Experience; Minimum 2 years of experience in Assisted Living or other healthcare setting working with the elderly; Community relations, marketing, or admissions experience in a healthcare organization preferred; Working knowledge of state and federal regulations for Assisted Living care; Ability to work independently and collaboratively; Maintaining confidentiality at all times; Highly organized with the ability to balance multiple priorities; Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; Proficiency in MS Office Suite and willingness to learn software programs for enhanced productivity
