Position: Community Events Coordinator – MCC

About: Montgomery Cancer Center is seeking a Community Events Coordinator to oversee all community events and health screenings, serving as a primary spokesperson for Baptist Health in the River Region. This individual will manage the mobile cancer screening and education program, emphasizing the deployment of the screening vehicle and other assigned duties within the scope of the role.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, event management, business, or related field; one to three years experience in marketing, public relations, or community events, preferably in healthcare; proven experience in event planning and execution, preferably in a healthcare or community organization setting; strong organizational, multitasking, and project management skills; excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; demonstrated cultural awareness and ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders; passion for community engagement and promoting health and wellness
