Position: Community Engagement Coordinator – Limited Duration
About: The Ballmer Institute for Children’s Behavioral Health at the University of Oregon in Portland is establishing a new national model for behavioral healthcare for children and families by creating a first-of-its-kind undergraduate training program in child behavioral health. The institute focuses on supporting underserved youth and aims to create systemic change by developing new approaches, providing support in schools and communities, and transforming the Pacific Northwest into a national model.
Requirements: Associate’s Degree and three years of work experience (paid or volunteer) supporting community programs for children, youth, or adults OR Bachelor’s Degree and one year of work experience (paid or volunteer), with one year in youth development programs, adult education, teaching, or related functions OR Five years of experience in a related field with a high school diploma or equivalent. Demonstrated oral and written communication skills; ability to work with diverse audiences; proficiency in using computers for word processing, data management, and communications.
