Position: Community-Based Event Coordinator
About: Emerging nonprofit based in the Northern St Louis area looking to add an enthusiastic, organized, and thoughtful professional to their core team to serve as an Event Coordinator. North Star Community Partners seeks to advance and elevate the underserved communities of North St. Louis through a collaborative ecosystem designed to cultivate social and economic change with key priorities including Urban Revitalization, Entrepreneurship, Workforce, & Business Development, Education Services, Access, & Attainment, and Community Building & Social Infrastructure.
Requirements: Minimum of 3 years of experience in event planning and project management, preferably in a nonprofit setting; Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse groups; Proficiency in project management tools and software; Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed for events; Passion for community service and commitment to the mission of North Star Community Partners.
