Position: Communications Manager
About: El Paso Locomotive FC is seeking a Communications Coordinator/Manager (title & salary commensurate with experience) to support the club’s media relations and digital content. This role will focus on amplifying the Locomotive brand through strategic storytelling, media relations, and digital content creation while also assisting with communications for the Locomotive Academy and Youth Soccer Programs. The ideal candidate is a passionate communicator with strong writing skills, media relations experience, and a deep understanding of soccer culture at both professional and youth levels.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field; 1-3 years (Coordinator) / 3-5 years (Manager) of experience in media relations, digital media, or sports communications; strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills; experience managing social media accounts and digital content strategies; knowledge of soccer and experience in a professional or youth sports environment preferred; ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and matchdays; strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment; proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, etc.) and social media management tools is a plus; ability to speak Spanish is a plus but not required
