Position: Communications & Events Specialist
About: The Communications & Events Specialist is an experienced events and project manager with a passion for planning and executing events. Responsible for a wide range of employee events as well as external events for an organization of approximately 3,000 shore side teams with the possibility of also shipboard events. This position will also support the Employee Communications team initiatives.
Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Event Planning, Public Relations Communications or related field; Years & or Area of Professional experience: 3-5 years’ experience managing special events and working in communications; Critical, Professional related Technical Skills; Computer Skills: Proficient using the latest versions of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and mail merges, email and social media; Requires a thorough understanding of the different aspects of event planning, including logistics, catering, vendor contract relations and presentation.
