Position: Communication Specialist – West Jefferson Medical Center
About: The Communications Specialist role at West Jefferson Medical Center, a cornerstone of LCMC Health’s community of care, involves supporting the creation, execution, and measurement of communications strategies internally and externally. This position collaborates with the management team to identify communication needs, serves as a project manager for marketing strategies, internal communication, social media, community outreach, and events, focusing on enhancing the patient experience to bring the brand to life within patient touchpoints.
Requirements: Education Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, English, Journalism, or related field and 3 years of experience in marketing communications; Skills and Abilities: Deep understanding of event planning and management best practices, effective communication and consensus-building in a complex environment, detail-oriented with excellent prioritization and project management skills, proficient in Microsoft Office, self-directed with strong organizational and time management skills, results-oriented with attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills to work with all levels of staff and thrive in a fast-paced environment, ability to handle multiple projects with competing deadlines and minimal supervision, flexibility for occasional evening and weekend work, experience in building and managing relationships internally and externally, familiarity with email marketing software, website content management systems, website and social media analytics, image editing software or Adobe Creative Suite, video editing software.
