Position: Commissary Manager I
About: HMSHost at Palm Beach International Airport is seeking a Commissary Manager I to manage the commissary activities of a location with low sales volume and routine operations. Responsibilities include purchasing, food production and storage, ensuring food quality, controlling food and labor costs, overseeing product delivery, leading the commissary team, educating associates on equipment and food safety, and other assigned duties. This position reports to the General Manager and is exempt from hourly wage requirements.
Requirements: Requires 2 years of formal post-high school education; Bachelor’s degree preferred; at least 1 year experience in low volume and/or multi-unit Food and Beverage or Merchandise operations; high level of computer literacy in Excel, Outlook, and Word; knowledge of product, service, quality, equipment, and operations standards; ability to interact effectively with associates at all levels, union representatives, and diverse hourly associates; proficient in communication and documentation; basic keyboarding skills; capable of lifting and/or moving up to 20 lbs; may involve operation of heavy equipment
