Position: College Event & Venue Coordinator
About: The Los Angeles Community College District is seeking a College Event & Venue Coordinator to plan, organize, schedule, and promote various events held in college facilities and event venues. The role involves coordinating event logistics, promoting activities campus-wide, enforcing safety policies, and managing event budgets. The Coordinator will also supervise event staff and ensure the proper setup and operation of equipment for events.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, hospitality management, or related field; 1 year of full-time experience in facilities operation and event coordination; knowledge of event planning, budget preparation, customer service techniques, and health and safety procedures; ability to plan and coordinate event activities, communicate effectively, and supervise staff
