Position: COLD PREP | MARQUEE CLUB | PART TIME
About: The Marquee Club at the Fox Theatre is seeking an experienced candidate for the position of Cold Food Prep. The Line Cook will be responsible for assisting in culinary operations, preparation of concession food offerings for theatre events, and other culinary needs at the prestigious Fox Theatre. The candidate should have experience in international foods, tapas styles, and cold food preparation.
Requirements: Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent; Culinary degree preferred or 2-3 years of cold prep experience; Minimum 2 years cold prep experience in private club, fine dining restaurant, or catering operations; Should have State of Georgia Server Safe food handling certificate and working knowledge of HACCP guidelines; Should have varied culinary knowledge of cold food styles; Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with last-minute changes to guest counts and popup events; Walking and standing during the entire shift required; Be able to lift up to 35 lbs; Must be able to work variable shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed; Successful applicants must be able to pass a post-offer, pre-employment background check.
