Position: Coffee Shop Barista
About: At Hy-Vee, a renowned grocery store chain committed to providing ‘a helpful smile in every aisle’, we are currently seeking a dedicated Barista to join our Coffee Shop team. The position involves fulfilling customer orders, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and delivering exceptional customer service to enhance the overall shopping experience.
Requirements: Less than high school or equivalent experience and six months or less of similar or related work experience; ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or verbal instructions, deal with concrete variables, perform simple addition and subtraction, and follow instructions accurately; physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, stand for extended periods, and engage in various physical activities like bending, reaching, and lifting; visual acuity for clarity in tasks such as color recognition, depth perception, and field of vision; strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation
