Position: Cocktail Server
About: Drury Hotels is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team at the Kitchen+Bar in the property located at 6920 Northlake Mall Drive in Charlotte, North Carolina. As part of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized food prep and serving area while providing exceptional service to our guests, embodying the values of integrity and hospitality that define Drury Hotels.
Requirements: Must be 18 years old or older; Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Completion of two years of college preferred; Ability to obtain and maintain all appropriate certifications per Company requirements; Ability to take written and verbal direction in English and speak English clearly; Ability to serve a wide variety of drinks in a fast-paced environment; Performs duties of prep cook or other positions as needed; Ability to handle money, make change and utilize office machines in normal day-to-day activities; Ability to operate machines and equipment used, including but not limited to, cash register POS software, dishwashers, kitchen equipment, etc.; Excellent customer service skills; ability to communicate effectively with customers and all levels of team members; ability to diplomatically deal with difficult situations and people while exhibiting a consistent level of professionalism including bar guests and when leading other team members; Ability to support bartender with serving of alcohol beverages and food, but does not prepare, make, or pour alcoholic beverages; Ability to clean and maintain areas for which responsible; Ability to effectively and efficiently move around bar area; Ability to distinguish between different denominations of currency and make change
