Position: Clinical Nurse Long Term Care
About: A Wing is a 58 bed Medicare/Medicaid unit that has residents with multiple clinical issues including CHF, dehydration, cellulitis, diabetes, DVT, and stable cardiac related issues needing monitoring. Nurses work closely with a variety of health care professionals including doctors, social work, dieticians, PT/OT, hospice, and spiritual support. A Wing offers a well-rounded opportunity for learning, professional growth, and personal satisfaction. B Wing is a 40 bed Medicare/Medicaid/Dementia unit providing care to residents with various diagnoses. It offers a great learning experience for nursing students to develop organizational skills and deal with challenging behaviors. C Wing is a 58 bed Medicare/Rehabilitation and Skilled unit providing opportunities to learn basic med-surg, I.V. therapy, and wound treatments nursing skills.
Requirements: Required associate’s degree or equivalent ADN; experience in Skilled Nursing/Long Term Care preferred; LIC-Registered Nurse (RN) – State MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required; CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA American Heart Association 90 Days required Or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) – ARC American Red Cross 90 Days required
