Position: Prep Cook
About:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Prep Cook to join our culinary team and work alongside our Celebrity Head Chef, Zach Womack, finalist from Gorden Ramsey’s Hell’s Kitchen.
This position plays a vital role in our professional kitchen, ensuring that food
preparation and service are conducted efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and a strong commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. In this role, you will:
• Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menu plans under the Head Chef
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils and cooking equipment as needed
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards throughout all food preparation processes
• Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation
Requirements:
• 2 years previous experience in a professional kitchen
• Food preparation techniques and safety practices
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen and the FOH
• A passion for cooking and providing quality meals to our catering customers
and in-store hot bar customers is highly valued
