Position: Chinese Kitchen/Dept Leader
About: Dillons in Hutchinson, Kansas, is seeking a dedicated individual to manage the Chinese Kitchen department and ensure exceptional dining experiences for customers. Requirements: Strong written and oral communication skills; demonstrated aptitude for managing people, organizing workloads, and making quick decisions; ability to multi-task, set priorities, and work with all levels of the organization; strong personal initiative and follow-through; friendly and outgoing demeanor with the ability to handle stressful situations calmly; ability to read and interpret documents; knowledge of employment practices and safety regulations; desired: thorough knowledge of Chinese Kitchen operations, department operations, and employment laws and safety regulations; experience in supervising and coaching direct reports, organizing work, and providing excellent customer service; proficiency in Computer Assisted Ordering, equipment operation, and adherence to company policies and procedures; input on budgets, goals, and results; maintenance of equipment, facilities, cleanliness, and temperature logs; flexibility to work any shift.
