Position: Chief Sommelier
About: Join our team onboard a luxury cruise ship as a talented and experienced Sommelier. You will be responsible for curating an exceptional wine list, providing impeccable service, and enhancing the overall guest experience with your expertise.
Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a sommelier, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role; Extensive knowledge of wine regions, varietals, and vintages; Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and manage a team effectively; Excellent customer service skills and a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences; Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously; Proficiency in wine service techniques and proper storage and handling procedures; Strong organizational and time-management skills; Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed; Certification from a recognized sommelier program preferred, but not required
