Position: Chief Executive Officer
About: Downtown Partnership of Colorado Springs is seeking a CEO to provide strategic and visionary leadership to their family of organizations, including Downtown Partnership, Downtown Ventures, the Greater Downtown Colorado Springs Business Improvement District, and the Colorado Springs Downtown Development Authority. The organization is focused on ensuring that Downtown Colorado Springs serves as the economic, civic, and cultural heart of the region, with significant recent investments and developments in the city center.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of executive leadership with experience in economic development, nonprofit management, fundraising, and project administration; deep understanding of urban planning trends; proven experience in managing special taxing districts; strong knowledge of Tax Increment Financing; success in securing funding and building long-term relationships; ability to navigate policy discussions and advocate on issues impacting businesses, residents, and visitors; experience in fostering a thriving business environment; knowledge of Colorado Springs and the Pikes Peak Region preferred.
