Position: CHEF, SOUS I
About: Chartwells Higher Ed, located at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, AR, is currently seeking a full-time Sous Chef to join their team. This position involves overseeing culinary functions, planning, ordering, inventory, and food preparation in adherence to company standards and client expectations.
Requirements: At least 5 years of culinary experience, including 1 year at a management level; experience in various food service operations; knowledge of industry trends, quality, production, and safety standards; supervisory, leadership, and training skills; ServSafe or Department of Health Certification; computer skills and MS Office proficiency; associate’s degree in Culinary Arts preferred
