About: The Culinary Academy of Las Vegas (CALV) is a leading nonprofit culinary and hospitality training institute with a mission to prepare individuals for successful careers in Las Vegas, aiming to reduce poverty and unemployment by providing employability and vocational skills to youth, adults, and displaced workers. The Chef role at CALV involves providing leadership, training, and hands-on management of the kitchen staff, ensuring proficient cooking techniques, knowledge of food and labor cost management, and consistent quality products for guests.

Requirements: Associate degree in Culinary Arts and a minimum of five (5) years of experience as a chef in a restaurant, hotel/casino, or catering; experience working with diverse learners; basic computer skills including Microsoft Office, Eatec (ordering), and ADP (payroll) preferred.
