Position: Chef de Partie – Buffet
About: The Chef de Partie position at Wynn Resorts supports The Buffet chefs and is responsible for supervising kitchen staff, working on all stations within the kitchen, conducting inventories, and ensuring preparation to outlet standards. The role involves guiding culinary employees on food preparation and quality standards, as well as maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and kitchen equipment in compliance with health and food safety regulations.
Requirements: A minimum of three (3) years of culinary experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume, luxury hotel/restaurant, scratch-cooking environment; Culinary training or degree is highly preferred; Extensive sanitation and culinary knowledge, accurate knife skills, and the ability to lead and motivate staff; Strong communication skills in English, ability to read and follow recipes, and use basic mathematical calculations; Ability to work organized in a team environment, work well under pressure, and resolve problems using good judgment; Prioritization skills, organizational abilities, and meeting deadlines; Obtain and maintain any required licensing or active work cards for the position; Minimum age of 18 years; Possession of a valid Nevada Health Card
