Position: Chef de Partie
About: McCalls Catering & Events is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Chef de Partie to support the Executive Chef in kitchen and catering operations, ensuring high-quality food production and adherence to best practices. The role involves overseeing section and junior chefs, maintaining food quality and presentation standards, managing portion control, and collaborating with the culinary team to achieve departmental goals. The position requires proactive involvement in kitchen operations, adherence to health and safety regulations, and continuous improvement of service standards and profitability within the catering department.
Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent; minimum 5 years of experience as a Chef de Partie in large volume operations; experience in menu and product development; ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs; valid California Food Handlers Card & Manager ServeSafe Certified
