Position: CHAIR OF THE DIVISION OF FAMILY PLANNING
About: Cook County Health is seeking a Chair of the Division of Family Planning to oversee the day-to-day operations of the division’s clinical and teaching activities within Cook County Health. The ideal candidate will lead the division in providing high-quality Family Planning and Reproductive Health Services while maintaining academic excellence and training future Family Planners.
Requirements: Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree; Licensed as a Physician and Surgeon in the State of Illinois; Board Certification by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology; Seven (7) years of clinical experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology; Three (3) years of experience actively training OB-GYN residents and medical students; At least three (3) years of leadership work experience in Family Planning or Reproductive Health Services; Experience with grant writing and management; Eligible for an academic appointment with department’s academic affiliate
