Position: CDS Event Manager
About: Club Demonstration Services (CDS) is seeking a Full Time Event Manager responsible for overseeing the recruitment, hiring, and supervision of in-store Product Demonstrators. This position entails managing product preparation, presentation, training, and providing excellent service to Club members. The role involves strong communication with warehouse managers, vendors, and Product Demonstrators, including involvement in new location grand openings. CDS is the chosen in-house event marketing provider for Costco, offering top person-to-person marketing services that drive sales for customers and Costco.
Requirements: High school education or equivalent; two to four years of related experience in retail, hospitality, or food environments; detail-oriented with excellent leadership and communication skills; proven ability to lead high-performing teams; capacity to exercise independent judgment; adept at coaching and counseling employees and taking appropriate measures as needed; flexibility and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
