Position: CDS Event Manager
About: Club Demonstration Services (CDS) is seeking a Full-Time Event Manager responsible for overseeing the recruitment, hiring, and supervision of in-store Product Demonstrators. This position involves managing product preparation, training, and providing excellent service to Club members, with a focus on communication between warehouse managers, vendors, and demonstrators, including participation in new location grand openings. CDS is the primary in-house event marketing provider for Costco, delivering top-tier person-to-person marketing services to drive sales.
Requirements: High school education or equivalent; two to four years of related experience in retail, hospitality, or food environments; detail-oriented with excellent leadership and communication skills; proven ability to lead high-performing teams; capable of exercising independent judgment; skilled in coaching and counseling employees; adaptable to a fast-paced work environment
