Position: CDL A Local Delivery Truck Driver
About: A company specializing in transportation services is seeking drivers to run daily routes with frequent stops. Drivers will be responsible for loading packages onto hand trucks and unloading products at each stop in the assigned route. The job operates in a cross-dock model, requiring the pickup and return of loaded and empty trucks. Some duties may include assisting with loading trucks, palletizing products, and following supervisor instructions.
Requirements: 21+ years of age; Must submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen; License to drive – valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record; Ability to read, write and communicate in English; Touch freight – may need to lift, push or move product weighing an average of 40-60 pounds and as much as 100 pounds repeatedly; Flexibility – overtime as required, weekends and holidays as business needs require.
