Position: Catering Sales Manager
About: The hotel is seeking a Catering Sales Manager to oversee the sales efforts and execution of meetings and event spaces. The position involves selling Social and Local Catering events for both Barnett and Masion Metier.
Requirements: Education: College degree or High School Diploma with related experience; Experience: Minimum of two years of hotel experience in Sales or Catering, with hotel sales systems knowledge required. Previous customer service orientation and training are necessary. Prior Catering Sales experience locally in New Orleans, or Hyatt Catering Sales experience is preferable; Skills and Knowledge: Must be able to read, write, and understand English. Excellent communication skills, negotiation abilities, organizational skills, and computer proficiency are required. Experience in coordinating weddings and social events is preferred.
