Position: Catering Sales Manager
About: ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, is seeking a Catering Sales Manager for ASM Global/Savor at the Moscone Center. The role involves planning and executing food and beverage sales for large-scale events averaging 1,500 to 5,000 people.
Requirements: BA Degree is required and/or 3 years’ experience as a Catering/Food and Beverage Sales Manager, Event Planner, Hotel Convention Services Manager, or Meeting Planner; Strong written and oral communication skills; Organized, ability to prioritize, and have strong time management skills; Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; Positive disposition and ability to motivate staff; Able to work flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays; Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and hospitality software; Well-developed interpersonal skills; Proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint; Catering Software Proficient; Prior hotel and convention experience a plus; Familiarity working with unions and an understanding of CBA rules
