Position: Catering Manager – Franchise
About: Catering Manager – Franchise role at a hotel focused on soliciting and responding to companies and organizations for food and beverage purchases, meeting space rentals, and ancillary services. The job involves coordinating the efficient delivery of products to meet customer needs and maximize profits, as well as supporting employment opportunities for Pueblo of Pojoaque Tribal members within the business.
Requirements: Must be at least 21 years of age; knowledge in food and beverage menu development; familiarity with banquet and event etiquette, guest relations, and service; ability to operate independently with excellent time management skills; capable of managing and directing staff; adept at handling multiple customer and operational demands professionally; demonstrable hotel industry knowledge; proficiency in computer systems and software for event planning and management; high school Diploma or GED; four-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management or equivalent combination of education and professional experience; at least two years of prior experience in hotel food and beverage, catering, event management, or sales; CPR certification and/or First Aid training preferred; valid driver’s license required; some travel may be necessary.
