Position: Catering Line Cook
About: The company is seeking a Line Cook to join their high-volume restaurant or catering kitchen in Las Vegas, NV. The role involves preparing a diverse range of menu items, meeting catering order specifications, maintaining high culinary standards, executing various cooking techniques, ensuring food quality and freshness, adhering to safety protocols, and contributing to the seamless flow of kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment. The Line Cook will also be responsible for upholding service standards for guests and team members while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements: Applicants must be 21 years of age or older; possess 6 months to 1 year of experience in a high-volume restaurant or catering kitchen; demonstrate excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines; exhibit the ability to multitask and prioritize under the pressure of deadlines; hold a valid SNHD Health Card; be capable of standing and working on feet for extended periods; maintain a calm and professional demeanor in a high-stress environment; work varied shifts including weekends and holidays; adapt to working in environments with noise, crowds, flashing lights, and smoke; capable of standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods; must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
