About: Kissel Uptown Oakland is seeking a detail-oriented Catering Coordinator to handle all aspects of meetings and events at the hotel, collaborating closely with clients to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction. The hotel is located in the vibrant Uptown district of Oakland, celebrating the city’s history and modern artistic flair with its Beaux-Arts architecture and contemporary design elements.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required with at least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field; Bachelor’s degree in a related field desired; Proficiency in Windows operating systems; Clear communication and quick decision-making skills; Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations; Strong problem-solving abilities; Financial acumen and basic arithmetic skills; Must adhere to professional appearance standards and hospitality regulations
