Position: Catering Delivery Driver/Steward
About: The University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Housing Catering department is seeking a Catering Delivery Driver/Steward to join their team. This position plays a crucial role in managing the pickup, drop off, and delivery of food, materials, and equipment for events, while also providing support in sanitation and operational aspects for the culinary and front of house teams.
Requirements: 8th grade education and 3 years of driving experience, including the ability to drive a box truck; ability to read, write, weigh, and measure; flexibility, reliability, and effective communication skills; accuracy, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills; valid driver’s license, ability to pass a DMV check, and obtain a Food Handlers Permit; physical capability required
