Position: Catering Coordinator
About: We are looking for a Catering Coordinator to add to our Dining & Events team at the Perez Art Museum in Miami, FL. This is a great opportunity if you have a catering events background and experience planning and executing events. You’ll be directly supporting the needs/goals of the Director of Catering, Catering Sales Manager, and Event Specialist. If you are looking to advance your career in managing catering events, this is a great role for you.
Requirements: 2 years of catering/food-beverage and/or administrative/event experience; Basic PC knowledge and comprehension (Word & Excel); Must be detail-oriented and able to coordinate multiple tasks effectively; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines; Strong organizational and time management skills; Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings and weekends as needed; Knowledge of CaterXpert or similar event management software is a plus; High school diploma or equivalent required; Food Safety Certification preferred.
