Position: Category Manager – Facilities Maintenance and Construction
About: Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores is seeking a Category Manager to drive commercial value and enhance its competitive position through end-to-end category management activities within assigned categories. The role involves managing supplier relationships, negotiating pricing and contracts, and developing sourcing strategies to minimize costs and maximize service quality. Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores is an industry-leading travel stop network in the United States, known for providing highway hospitality and clean, modern facilities stocked with fuel, food, and supplies for drivers.
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain management or a business-related field preferred; 5-8 years of Supply Chain, Finance, or Operations work experience; understanding of category management and procurement strategies; effective negotiation skills; experience working with Facilities Maintenance and Construction categories; proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; ability to handle multiple interruptions and adjust priorities while meeting deadlines; excellent communication skills; experience with ERP or Procure-to-Pay systems
