Position: Cashier – Student Accounts
About: Savannah Technical College is seeking a Cashier to provide front-line support in the Business Office. The Cashier serves as a key point of contact for students, ensuring a positive and professional experience while managing financial transactions and account-related interactions. This role requires strong communication skills, accuracy, and a focus on customer service to support the financial processes of the College.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent and 6 months work-related experience. Experience handling cash, checks, and electronic payments, preferably in a higher education setting; Proficiency with financial systems, accounting software, or student information systems (e.g., Banner); Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy; Excellent customer service and communication skills; Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
