About: Woodlands Market, Marin and San Francisco’s premier gourmet grocery store, is seeking Cashiers/Customer Service Superstars to join their team. If you are fast, friendly, accurate, and reliable, this position is perfect for you. Cashiers at Woodlands Market are responsible for efficiently completing sales transactions, building relationships with guests, and having in-depth knowledge of store products.
Requirements: Effective customer service; In-depth knowledge of store products; Able to prioritize work and handle multiple tasks; Excellent verbal and customer service skills; Ability to process information/merchandise through computer system and POS register system; Ability to memorize codes such as Produce merchandise numbers; Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates; Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 15 pounds occasionally; Repeated lifting, bending, twisting, keypunch entry
