Position: Cashier job
About: Cashier position at a retail store, playing a critical customer service role by providing fast, friendly, accurate, and safe service. Responsible for processing Checkout and/or Return transactions, monitoring and maintaining the Self-Checkout area, and proactively acquiring product/project knowledge to assist customers and identify selling opportunities. Ensures compliance with all policies and procedures to minimize shrink. The Head Cashier will oversee Cashiers, expedite price checks, approve Point of Sale transactions and markdowns, and provide first-level escalation for customer issues, as well as support in training and coaching other Front End Associates. Preferred qualification includes 1+ years of Cashier experience.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; 1+ years of Cashier experience preferred
