Position: Cashier job
About: Rainbow Grocery Cooperative is seeking a Cashier to join their team. The cashier will be responsible for charging customers for groceries, operating the cash register, maintaining positive customer relations, and upholding store policies. The role also includes balancing drawers, participating in decision-making processes, and maintaining a clean work environment.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in cashier or retail roles preferred; ability to operate cash register, scale, and electronic systems; strong customer service skills; ability to work under pressure and handle busy situations; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively; reliable attendance record; familiarity with store policies and procedures
