About: The Walter’s Cashier role at Walter’s Soul Food involves greeting guests with friendliness, cashing out checks efficiently, and assisting in bussing tables. The ideal candidate is engaging, genuinely interested in guest experience, and committed to the success of Walter’s Soul Food.
Requirements: Greets and welcomes guests, inviting them back as they leave. Works well in a team environment and independently. Dependable, punctual, motivated, reliable transportation. Basic math skills, works well under pressure. Reliable, flexible work schedule: weekdays, weekends, holidays. Able to take direction, multi-tasking, organizational skills. Ability to stand, bend, reach, and walk for long periods of time. Ability to lift up to 30lbs. Professional appearance, positive attitude. Good conversational skills with an outgoing personality. Desire to grow and learn within the restaurant and hospitality industry. High school graduate or equivalent is preferred. Restaurant/retail experience preferred.
