Position: Cashier job
About: The Salvation Army, an internationally recognized non-profit, faith-based organization, is looking for a Cashier to join their team. The job involves assisting store customers in selecting and purchasing items, operating and maintaining a cash register, and ensuring the cleanliness and security of the cash register area. The Cashier will also respond to customer inquiries, maintain merchandise displays, and support the overall cleanliness of the store.
Requirements: High school diploma or G.E.D preferred; experience working in a retail store preferred; knowledge of effective customer service techniques; knowledge of basic mathematics principles; ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
