Position: Cashier job
About: Cashiers play a critical customer service role by providing customers with fast, friendly, accurate, and safe service. They process checkout and/or return transactions, monitor and maintain the self-checkout area, seek product/project knowledge to provide customers with information, identify selling opportunities, and follow all policies and procedures to minimize shrink. A Head Cashier expedites price checks, approves Point of Sale transactions and markdowns, provides first-level escalation for customer issues, and assists in the supervision, coaching, and training of other Front End Associates. The preferred qualification for a Head Cashier is 1+ years of cashier experience.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; minimum legal age to work; 1+ years of cashier experience preferred; knowledge of cash handling procedures; excellent customer service skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; strong communication and interpersonal skills
