About: Cashiers at this retail establishment play a critical customer service role by providing fast, friendly, accurate, and safe service to customers. They are responsible for processing Checkout and/or Return transactions, monitoring and maintaining the Self-Checkout area, and seeking product/project knowledge to assist customers and identify selling opportunities. Cashiers also ensure compliance with policies and procedures to minimize shrinkage. A Head Cashier leads and supports Cashiers by expediting price checks, approving Point of Sale transactions, and providing assistance in customer issue escalation. Additionally, they supervise, coach, and train Front End Associates, including new Cashiers, to enhance team performance. The preferred qualification for a Head Cashier is 1+ years of Cashier experience.

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; 1+ years of cashier experience preferred; strong customer service and communication skills; ability to follow policies and procedures to minimize shrinkage
