Position: Cashier job
About: Cashiers at this retail establishment play a critical customer service role by providing customers with fast, friendly, accurate, and safe service. They process Checkout and/or Return transactions and monitor and maintain the Self-Checkout area. The company values proactive product/project knowledge to provide customers with information, identify selling opportunities, and minimize shrink. A Head Cashier supports and expedites Cashiers by approving transactions and markdowns, providing customer issue escalation, and assisting in the supervision, coaching, and training of other Front End Associates.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; 1+ years of Cashier experience preferred; strong customer service skills; ability to handle transactions accurately and efficiently; proactive in seeking product/project knowledge; familiar with policies and procedures for minimizing shrink
