Position: Cashier job
About: Houston Methodist West Hospital is looking for a detail-oriented Cashier to handle cash, credit, and other payment transactions in retail food operation areas. The ideal candidate will accurately complete transactions, provide receipts, and maintain cash handling procedures. Additionally, this position will provide support in various areas of the retail food operation and may operate relevant Food Services equipment.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent education (e.g. GED, homeschool equivalency verification, post-secondary education); One year experience operating a cash register in a food service establishment or equivalent; Food Handlers Permit accredited by Texas Department of State Health Services (TXDSHS) or American National Standards Institute (ANSI); Demonstrated proficiency in English language; Basic math skills; Team player with excellent communication abilities; Knowledge of local Food Ordinances
