About: The Walter’s Cashier role at Walter’s Soul Food includes ensuring guests are greeted with friendliness, efficiently cashing out guest checks, and assisting with bussing tables. Cashiers are expected to be engaging, show genuine interest in guest experience, and contribute to the success of Walter’s Soul Food, creating a desire for guests to return.
Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent preferred; restaurant/retail experience preferred; greets and welcomes guests, encourages return visits; works well in team and independently; dependable, punctual, motivated with reliable transportation; basic math skills, works well under pressure; reliable, flexible work schedule including weekdays, weekends, holidays; able to take direction, multitask, and demonstrate organizational skills; ability to stand, bend, reach, and walk for extended periods; capable of lifting up to 30 lbs; professional appearance, positive attitude; good conversational skills with an outgoing personality; desire to grow and learn in the restaurant and hospitality industry
