Position: Cashier – Downtown Store
About: City Market Co-Op is seeking a Cashier with strong communication and customer service skills, ideally with prior experience in customer service or retail and/or a drive to learn. The company is dedicated to providing a wide variety of local, organic, and conventional products at a fair price to the community. Employees have the opportunity to be part of a community-owned business and contribute actively to the vibrant local food system.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED preferred; six months of cash handling experience OR one year of customer service experience strongly preferred OR demonstrated willingness to learn; knowledge of natural and conventional foods and the food industry helpful
