Position: Carpenter
About: PeopleReady Skilled Trades is currently seeking a Carpenter to support custom home and commercial contractors in Eugene, Oregon, and surrounding areas. This position offers weekly pay, health insurance benefits, a flexible work schedule, referral bonus programs, and the opportunity to obtain OSHA 10 certification.
Requirements: Valid RIGHT TO WORK DOCUMENTS for Employment in the US; 2+ years of Finish/Rough commercial/residential carpentry experience; Strong scheduling and blueprint reading skills as well as knowledge of metal stud/wood framing, material management, metal doors, hardware install, drywall, trim, cabinets/counter tops, suspended grid, tile install, etc.; Reliable transportation to and from jobsites; Basic math skills – addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division; Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and walk for extended periods throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation; Able to repeatedly lift 50 pounds in order to load and unload wood and other materials as well as carry needed tools and materials to and from the jobsite; Position may require additional screenings.
